Scholarships

Student in Class Admission to Mississippi State University is conducted on a rolling basis. To be considered for admission, students must submit an application (online is recommended).

  • Freshman will need to submit an official ACT/SAT score and six semester high school transcript.
  • Transfer students need to submit transcripts from all other institutions attended.

For students wishing to be considered for scholarship awards, the above documentation is required, as well as an online scholarship resume. These must be submitted by:

  • December 1, 2007 for Schillig and Presidential Scholarships
  • February 1, 2008 for other academic freshmen scholarships
  • May 1, 2008 for transfer and international students’ scholarships

All students must submit a $35 application fee.

Application Fee Waiver:
Mississippi State University will waive the admissions application fee for freshmen applicants who submit an approved ACT or SAT test fee waiver signed by their high school counselor. This waiver is need-based and not related to the score received on the ACT/SAT test.
